From this class I’ve learned three main things. First of all, making prediction of the targeted customer by price range of the products. This was an essential point throughout the class because price range of the product mattered a lot when it came to creating my own customer profile. By selecting certain price range I will get specific customers. Secondly, I’ve noticed the importance of layouts in presentations. Looking at the examples, the layout of the presentation effected the whole mood of the presentation and it made the viewers more interested and more easy to understand. Lastly, creating a connection based on my customer’s interview. This made me look closer at where she got the information of the products and how she presents her style. How she connects to the society by her outfit or other medias.
It was a great activity to play with layouts that brings out the most I want to present. I had opportunities to change layouts to emphasize different elements. For example by enlarging the photo of the customer then other pictures, it automatically gave majority of the attention to the model. It was pretty difficult to find the balance between that but at the end my experimenting different layouts, I was able to manage the balance. After having a short critique of my own work I found parts that I need improvements on. Especially in my case, I put too many images at first but then after taking a look at the whole presentation, I determined to put less photos and to show what’s important rather than just putting all related photos. As a result I was able to show which is the highlight of the page.
