TOOLBOX session 1 USP

The activity according to the USP was overall very helpful for me to get the basic idea of how targeting certain parts of our environment can have positive effect on each of them. For example one of the other group had a brand that was targeting movements around our society and it was interesting how fashion can relate so easily but also have strong power in them especially when it connects those who share same interests just by wearing the same clothes. In our group, we concentrated in redesigning clothes that people don’t wear anymore. In order for the brand to sustain we thought advising people to bring in as much as clothes as possible was essential. So as a result we chose to offer adequet selling price and to give certain amount of discount on clothes displayed in the store which was made by the sold old clothes. Our brand’s main purpose was to make customers practice avoiding throwing away their clothes. Our class today about the UPS was engaging and gave me opportunity have a look at how fashion brands could not only prioritize visual goods but to actually have positive impact on our environments. I especially enjoyed how every group had different ways to achieve their brands but all had one important purpose, to reduce the damage of garments towards nature.
