During the second toolbox class, I got a chance to look at different photos of people from vogue and make prediction based on what they were wearing. Throughout the process I realized how much I judge people just by their appearance unintentionally. Also at the same time I noticed how fashion takes big part for others to think of me as well and furthermore, I’ve always learned not to judge someone just by the appearance but it’s the truth that it’s very difficult to totally ignore one’s appearance. It was pretty interesting to find out different elements of that particular person wearing to decide where he might live and do for a job as well.
Creating a shop report gave me opportunity to think about details and distinctive point that each shop has to target specific customers. In my case I did a report of Uniqlo and I had to keep ask question to myself. For example “How did it smell like?” or “Do I feel comfortable when I go there?”. These questions made me predict how Uniqlo has specific identities to keep their customers to return. Music with high tempo and affordable range of prices makes it people to easily buy the products without having lots of time to think. It was very interesting to see these system behind the displays and kind of play with psychology.
